Tighe takes “A” Flight for ladies at Ainsdale; and senior men's results

Denise Tighe won “A” Flight, with a net score of 32, at Ladies Day, Tuesday, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

In second, was Karen Neilipovitz with 35; and in third, was Christie DeGuzman with 36. Skins winner, was Tighe.

“B” Flight – Tied for first, Wendy Gardner, Sandy Petter and Bev Ramage, 38. Skins winners, were Gardner, Janice Matchett and Shelly Pollock.

“C” Flight – Tied for first, Judy Gordon and Ruth Johnston, 35; and in third, Susan Earle, 36. Skins winners, were Colleen Douglas, Gordon, Sandy Liddle and Norma Jean Rhody.

“D” Flight – Beth Mimnagh, 31; Angela Thompkins, 38; and Deborah Brindley, 39. Skins winners, were Betty Hunter, Mimnagh and Thompkins.

The 50-50 draw winner was Carolyn Blenkinsop, $26.50.

The sponsor was PRG, and draw winners were Shawna Small, Jenn Edey, Sharon McKay, Shirley Thomas, Michelle Lanthier, Barb McBride, Denise Tighe and Barb Grubb.

SENIOR MEN'S RESULTS

The team of Mike Fauteux, Doug Harris, Bill Heikkila and Steve MacEachern won the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday.

In second, was the team of Jim Guenther, Jim Hamnett, Derek Kennedy and Roy Douglas.

And in third, was the team of Ron McDonald, John Downs, Terry Brown and Bruce Sine.

Closest to the Pin winners, were Dick Ford at No. 3; and Ron McDonald at No. 8.

The team that had the most fun, included Dick Ford, Gil Graham, Rick Haugh and Lorne Seal.
