Derek McBride wins “A” Flight at Ainsdale Men's Night

Derek McBride took “A” Flight with a net score of 36.5, at the Men's Night, Thursday, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

In second, was Jon Thompson with 37.6, followed by Gordon Yoon, 37.8; Brad Knight, 38; and Jeramey Dinsmore, 39.4. Skins winners, were Thompson and Don Turcotte.

“B” Flight – Tony Stapley, 36.8; Dale Walden, 37.8; Dave Neilipovitz, 39.2; and tied for fourth, Sebastien Garneau and Darren Cook, 39.3. Skins winners, were Garneau and Mark Smith.

“C” Flight – Kevin Connell, 35.9; Don Martyn, 37.2; Adam Burgess, 39.4; Jim Guenther, 39.9; and Al Matheson, 40.7. Skins winners, were Guenther.

“D” Flight – Victor DeGuzman, 35.8; tied for second, Nick Locking and Drew Armstrong, 36; Mike Fair, 36.2; and Ken Gardner, 36.3. Skins winners, were Armstrong, Chad Colling and Locking.

The 50-50 draw winner was Jordan Ball, $39.50.

Wednesday was a lucky day for Ted Carthy (left) and Dave Blenkinsop.

Carthy scored a hole-in-one on Hole No. 17, from 151 yards with a smooth six-iron!

Then, not much later, Blenkinsop scored a hole-in-on on the same hole!
