Burton, Peet tie for first at Ainsdale ladies' day; Meraw takes Men's Night

Anne Burton and Maureen Peet tied for first in “A” Flight, with a net score of 39, at Ladies Day, Tuesday at Ainsdale Golf Course.

Tied for third, were Debby Antler, Barb Grubb, Karen Neilipovitz, Diane Sutter and Shirley Thomas, 40. Skins winners, were Antler, Peet and Sutter.

“B” Flight – Deb Quinn, 37; tied for second, Sandy Black and Jean Rhude, 38. Skins winners, were Alexis Gallant and Sandy Petter.

“C” Flight – Norma Jean Rhody, 34; Shirley Cole, 35; and Shawna Small, 38. Skins winners, were Cole, Mhairi Guenther, Rhody and Angela Thompkins.

“D” Flight – Deb Brindley, 38.

The 50-50 draw winner was Christine MacDonald, $25.

Mike Meraw took “A” Flight, with a net score of 33, at the Men's Night, Thursday at Ainsdale Golf Course.

In second, was Travis McLaughlin, 33.4; followed by Matt Ropp, 34.2; Ben Hudson, 35.1; and tied for fifth, Jeramey Dinsmore and Jarrett Johns, 35.7. Skins winners, were Duane Kocela, Mark Long and McLaughlin.

“B” Flight – Sebastien Garneau, 32.8; Lynn Finlayson, 34.8; Dan Kelley, 35.1; Bob Black, 36.5; Darren Cook, 36.8. Skins winners, were Kelley and Matt Ropp.

“C” Flight – Tied for first, Don Martyn and David Blenkinsop, 35.9; Al Matheson, 36; Jeff Renaud, 36.2; and Tim Palmer, 37.2. Skins winners, were Blenkinsop, Martyn and Phil Thompkins.

“D” Flight – Jay Dunlop, 32.7; Walter Hogg, 36.1; Al Holl, 36.5; Roy Douglas, 38.8; and Henry Lansink, 39.4. Skins winners, were Dunlop, Richard Ford and Dave Hodgson.
