Kincardine CAO Walking a Mile in Her Shoes in Port Elgin

Kincardine chief administrative officer Murray Clarke will be strapping on a pair of ladies' red high-heeled shoes for a good cause, Sunday, in Port Elgin.

He is one of a group of brave men who are participating in the Bruce County "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" event in support of the Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey.

Men will be walking up the main street in red high heels, and organizers expect a good crowd so the participants get the attention and recognition that they deserve. Last year, a number of local men, including several South Bruce OPP officers, took part in the walk in Owen Sound.

The event begins with registration at noon at the Queen's Bar and Grill in Port Elgin. Opening ceremonies are at 1 p.m., with the walk starting at 1:20 p.m.
