Huron-Bruce Atoms win International Silver Stick championship
The Huron-Bruce Blizzard Atom team has won the International Silver Stick “C” championship, after downing the Belmont Rangers in the final, Saturday in Forest.

During round-robin play, Friday, the Blizzard defeated the Muskrat Voyageurs of the Ottawa area, 5-3, but lost to the Rangers, 3-2.

Saturday, the Blizzard tallied an overtime win over the Lambton Shores Predators, and a 6-4 win over the Force of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The team finished first in the Atom “C” division after round-robin play, earning the Blizzard a “bye” into the final where the team faced the Rangers again.

This time, the Blizzard won, 4-1, taking the 2020 International Silver Stick Atom “C” championship.

The Kincardine Atoms made it to the semi-finals at the International Silver Stick Atom "B" championships, but the Kincardine Bantams did not reach the playoffs.
