Bulldogs ousted from playoffs by Wingham in four straight games
The Kincardine Fairmount Security Bulldogs have seen their playoff dreams dashed, after being eliminated by the Wingham Ironmen in four straight games, in the Pollock Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Friday night, they lost, 4-1, in Wingham; Saturday night, they lost a close one, 5-4, in overtime, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, and Sunday, they were edged out, 4-3, in Wingham.

Wednesday night was the Bulldogs' final chance to stay in the playoffs, as they hosted the Ironmen at the Davidson Centre, but after a hard-fought battle, Wingham took the game, 3-2, and the series.

Wingham opened the scoring early in the first on the powerplay.

Kent Ribey scored from Austin Waite and Gavin Gibbons to tie the game, 1-1 early in the second. The scoring went back and forth, with Wingham adding two, and Kincardine notching another, by Brett Burrows from Brady Stewart and Logan Freiburger, to make it a 3-2 game.

Despite many scoring attempts, the Bulldogs could not tie it up, and the Ironmen won, 3-2, advancing to the finals.
