More submissions for “Where were you during COVID-19?†contest
We have received more submissions for the “Where were you during COVID-19?” contest.
These are photos taken while you are self-isolating, staying home, washing your hands, playing games with your children, looking bored – whatever is getting you through the day during this crisis.
If you are an essential service, and it is safe for you to do so, take photos of yourself at work and submit those as well.
Among this new set of photos, we have a surprise birthday message for Ronin MacIntosh, set up by his aunt and uncle, Cristal and Brian Kelly.
Members of Irene Boyle's family visited her, through Facetime, at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton.
And a series of three photos show Wendy Cox of Kincardine on a journey to South America which was cut short because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The contest runs until the end of May. All submissions will then be posted in a story June 1, and you can vote for your favourite photo until the end of June.
July 1, we will announce the winner. The photo with the most votes will win a $100 gift card to a local business of your choice; second prize is a $50 gift card to a local business; and third prize is a $25 gift card to a local business.
