Opening Kincardine landfill is not rocket science, says reader

To the Editor:

It's not rocket science to open a landfill to the public.

If the LCBO can do opens its doors with limited staff, I'm sure with all the employees the Municipality of Kincardine has, it can set up staff at the gate and allow a limited number of people in at a time.

Set the bins up spread out, and all trailers go to the back. Have all compost users on the outside rows only.

If people get caught not following instructions, they are removed. You write down their licence plate and don't allow them back in.

People, it's like the coffee shop and everywhere else. Pay attention and do not socialize at all. No scavenging allowed, no reuse centre. Get in and get out.

Don't be that person who got it taken away.
