We wear masks to protect ourselves and others, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: “Mask-wearing is a ridiculous mandate, says reader”

Melodie, don’t wear your mask and stay home away from everyone else. That should do it for you.

For the rest of us, we plan to protect ourselves and others and follow the recommendations of public health.

We wear our masks, wash our hands, stay within our bubble and HOPE that we don’t get another wave and a shut-down due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

I don’t know if you saw this before but it pretty well sums up why we wear masks.
