KDSS gets new vice-principal in February
Kincardine District Secondary School will have a new vice-principal, effective Feb. 1.

Current vice-principal, Lori Templeton, will become principal at Chesley District Community School, while Suzanne Kennedy, a system special education lead teacher for the Bluewater District School Board in Chesley, takes over as vice-principal in Kincardine.
Kennedy has extensive leadership experience and will be a great asset at KDSS, says Jamie Pettit, board communications officer.
Templeton, a former teacher at KDSS, returned to the high school in 2012 as its vice-principal. Originally from Guelph, she came to KDSS in 1997 and taught mathematics and co-operative education for 13 years before becoming vice-principal at John Diefenbaker Secondary School in Hanover. After three years there, she had the chance to return to KDSS as vice-principal, and took it.

Templeton is married with two children and lives in Kincardine. Her children are involved in hockey so the family spends a lot of time at the arena.
Another change for Kincardine will see Carolyn Harris, current vice-principal at Huron Heights Public School in Kincardine, become vice-principal at Walkerton District Community School, effective Jan. 1.
