Reader remembers hydro installed on the farm in 1935

RE: “The arrival of hydro in rural Ontario”
I’m not sure when my parents installed the Delco, but the hydro power was installed on our farm in 1935.
The Delco wiring was, and still is, in the house. We lived on Concession 2, Huron Township.
We got a TV in the ‘40s. Not sure what year that CKNX came on the air, but I well remember the night it did. All the neighbours came to our place to see the big event. This was the first that most had seen a TV!
