Thanks for story about what caused the power outage, says reader

Thanks for the story. I wondered why the power would go out on a non-stormy and non-windy day.

How did you find out about this? I looked at the Hydro One website and could not find anything. I eventually found your page via Google.

Nice picture, but I presume the owl in the story suffered a worse fate.

Thanks again for finding out what put so many of us in an uncomfortable position.
