The Bluewater District School Board continues to shake things up when it comes to principal and vice-principal appointments in the fall.

Tanya Leppington, teacher and part-time vice-principal at Huron Heights Public School, Kincardine, will now become principal at Ripley-Huron Community School, rather than vice-principal at Walkerton District Community School.

"It was an amazing Lightning Hawk send-off from Huron Heights," said Leppington. "I am excited to be joining the team at Ripley-Huron Community School and returning to my own former elementary school. I look forward to working with staff, parents, and students to achieve the goals and priorities in our school community."

Mary Martha Uttley-Shaw, who was to take on the principal's job in Ripley, will now become administrator at Walkerton District Community School.

Colleen Maguire, current principal at Kincardine Township-Tiverton Public School, takes on the job of principal at Huron Heights, while Graham Martin, principal at Ripley-Huron Community School, becomes principal at KTTPS.

Lori Templeton returns to Kincardine District Secondary School as vice-principal, taking over from Suzanne Kennedy who becomes vice-principal at Port Elgin-Saugeen Central School.

These placements are effective Sept. 1, 2017.
